CodeNekt: transparency at the heart of mobility

At CodeNekt, we start from a simple observation: car ownership lacks transparency. Incomplete histories, missing service records, lost paperwork and questionable used cars leave many drivers feeling overwhelmed.

That is why we created CodeNekt: an intelligent digital service record that brings vehicle information together, makes it accessible and supports secure sharing. Our aim is to simplify everyday ownership and restore trust in the automotive ecosystem.

Sophia Antipolis: where we build

CodeNekt established its offices in Sophia Antipolis, often called the French Silicon Valley. Startups, laboratories, manufacturers and automotive businesses share a desire to make mobility easier, greener and more transparent.

This environment helps us develop the project, test our apps, improve services and build a community whose experience inspires us every day.

What exactly is CodeNekt?

It is a mobile application for iOS and Android. Once installed, it lets you:

• Enter a registration number to retrieve available public vehicle information.
• Add or scan documents such as registration papers, insurance and inspection reports.
• Follow completed and upcoming maintenance, including brakes, tyres and scheduled servicing.
• Keep invoices and service records together.
• The original announcement also described a planned one-click transfer of the digital record to a future buyer, with supporting evidence.

Drivers with several cars, regular buyers and sellers, and fleet managers also need organised information. CodeNekt is designed for these different ownership situations.

Our collaboration with Euromaster France

CodeNekt aims to do more than store information: it helps drivers organise maintenance. That is why we teamed up with Euromaster France.

The collaboration described in this announcement enables app users to:

• Book an appointment through CodeNekt.
• Choose a nearby Euromaster centre.
• Select a service such as tyres, scheduled maintenance, wheel alignment or air-conditioning recharge.

A simple booking journey helps drivers arrange maintenance and keep their vehicle record up to date.

The aim is a quick, reassuring experience that helps reduce unpleasant surprises before a long trip, a sale or a mechanical problem.

Why does it matter?

As mobility becomes electric, lower-carbon and shared, trust matters more. Drivers need to understand what work was done, when, by whom and at what cost.

This is traceability. The announcement also outlined blockchain-based timestamping and protection of vehicle events, with potential benefits for used-car buyers, rental operators, insurers and automotive professionals.
